PERFECT FORM – Form Technique, Architecture, Precision Filing
From perfect form fitting to precise shaping: An intensive 1-day course for nail designers who want to systematically improve their form technique and achieve clean, stable, and precise nail architecture. Perfection starts with the right foundation.
Who is this course for?
This course is aimed at nail designers who:
- have primarily worked with tips so far
- have little or no experience with forms in their basic training
- have difficulty with correct form placement, symmetry, or the central axis
- often remove too much material when filing
- struggle with apex and stability
- want to master Square, Almond, and Stiletto more precisely
- want to build a solid foundation for advanced perfection training or competitions
Course Goal
After this course, you will be able to:
- correctly analyze the natural nail and select and adapt the appropriate form
- precisely place the form and control the central axis
- build an extension without visible transitions and with correct nail architecture
- correctly position the apex and control material thickness
- file systematically and efficiently without destroying the architecture
- identify common mistakes and correct them independently
Daily Schedule
- 09:00 – 09:20 Welcome & Analysis: Individual assessment of your current working methods
- 09:20 – 10:00 Theory – Nail Anatomy & Architecture: Understanding the nail plate, stress zone, apex, and longitudinal axis as a continuous system
- 10:00 – 10:45 Form Technique: Selecting, preparing, and precisely applying the correct form – focus on the central axis
- 11:00 – 12:00 Practice 1 – Short/Medium Square: Independently develop basic principles (central axis, parallel sidewalls, material control), with individual feedback
- 12:00 – 12:30 Architecture: Apex position and stress zone in detail – stability without unnecessary material thickness
- 13:00 – 13:45 Filing Technique: Systematic filing process in 7 steps – filing as architecture control, not just correction
- 13:45 – 14:30 Practice 2 – Almond: Applying what you've learned to the Almond shape, including avoiding "Banana Shape"
- 14:30 – 15:00 Filing – Almond: The difference between optically beautiful but statically weak – and thin, elegant, and correctly built

Anela's Pro Tip
"The form is not just a simple base for the extension – it is the extension of the natural nail axis. Once you truly internalize that, you file differently: more controlled, with less material loss, and a clear understanding of why the shape turns out the way it does. My most important principle in this course: 'Don't file the architecture away' – an optically beautifully shaped but statically weak nail is not a good result, no matter how elegant it looks." – Anela Mucic, World Champion Nail Design 2023 & INJA Juror

This course is designed precisely for this situation – it systematically guides you from basic analysis to precise form technique, even without prior experience with forms.
Which nail shapes will be covered in the course?
In the practical part, you will work on Square and Almond; the principles learned (central axis, apex, architecture) can then also be applied to Stiletto.
Is this course good preparation for competitions?
Yes, clean form technique and nail architecture are the foundation for advanced perfection training and the competition area.
Do I need to bring my own model?
Details regarding model requirements will be coordinated individually after purchase.
