Collection: Files and buffers – precision for every nail design and manicure

As Nail Design World Champion 2023 and INJA juror, Anela Mucic knows: The best gel or the finest brush technique is useless if the nail preparation is not right. Our files and buffers offer the right tool for every application – from nail preparation to the perfect finish. Whether natural nails, gel, acrylic, or polygel enhancements: Here you will find files in various shapes, grits, and designs.

Our Categories at a Glance

  • White and Zebra Files: Ideal for precise shaping and smoothing, with half-moon or straight shapes for ergonomic work. White files also leave no dark residue – ideal for competitions and light enhancements.
  • Buffers: Perfect for smoothing surfaces and preparing nails before enhancement.
  • High-Shine Buffer: Provides a high-gloss finish on natural nails – completely without top coat, ideal for championships.
  • Replaceable Files and Boards: Hygienic, sustainable, and perfect for daily studio use – easy to change and available in various grits, in stainless steel or plastic.

Anela's Pro Tip

"The right file choice often determines the final result even before the first gel is applied. In competitions, I exclusively use white files, as dark residue is immediately noticeable on light enhancements. For daily studio use with many clients in a row, our replaceable files are unbeatable – every client receives a truly fresh tool."Anela Mucic, Nail Design World Champion 2023 & INJA Juror

Hygiene Tip

We recommend using a separate file for each client to ensure the highest hygiene standards. In particular, our replaceable files and boards are ideal for hygienic and sustainable use in the nail salon – a fresh sheet per client, while the board remains sterilizable.

Frequently Asked Questions

What grit do I need for which step?
Coarse grits (100) are suitable for quickly removing old material and shaping hard enhancements. Medium grits (150) are ideal for blending and shaping. Fine grits (180 and higher) are suitable for gently buffing the natural nail and for the final refinement before enhancement.

What is the difference between white and zebra files?
Zebra files have a durable, gray-white coating that hardly clogs. White files also leave no dark residue on the enhancement – a clear advantage in competitions, training, and light or transparent designs.

Is a replaceable file system worth it compared to classic disposable files?
Yes, especially in professional studio daily life. The reusable board (stainless steel or plastic) remains sterilizable; only the file sheet is changed per client. This is more hygienic, more ecological, and significantly more cost-effective in the long run than complete disposable files.
