Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Here you'll find answers to the most common questions about shipping, returns, and our products. If your question isn't listed, please feel free to contact us at info@studioamelie.de.
Which countries do you ship to?
We ship within Germany and to numerous other European countries, including Austria, Switzerland, Croatia, France, the Netherlands, Belgium, Italy, Spain, Poland, and other EU and EEA states.
What are the shipping costs?
Within Germany, we charge a flat rate of €5.49; orders over €80 (net) are shipped free of charge. For EU countries, shipping costs a flat rate of €13.99 (deviations possible depending on weight); orders over €250 (net) are shipped free of charge. For Switzerland, we charge a flat rate of €14.99.
How long does delivery take?
Within Germany, delivery usually takes 3–5 days; for international deliveries, 5–14 days after receipt of payment. No shipping takes place on Sundays and public holidays.
Who bears the costs if I return something?
In the event of a cancellation, you, as the customer, bear the direct costs of the return. The refund of the merchandise value will be made immediately, no later than 14 days after receipt of your cancellation.
Can I return opened or sealed products?
For hygiene and health protection reasons, the right of withdrawal expires prematurely as soon as the seal of a product has been removed after delivery. Please check products carefully before opening them.
Are your products HEMA-free?
This varies and depends on the specific product. Some of our lines, such as AM Professional Acrygel, are explicitly HEMA- and TPO-free. Other products, such as ibd Hard Gels, contain Di-HEMA Trimethylhexyl Dicarbamate. The complete INCI list can always be found directly on the respective product page or on the packaging.
Do I need a UV or an LED lamp?
That depends on the gel used. Many of our products cure under both UV and LED light, but require different times (e.g., 60 seconds LED vs. 2–4 minutes UV). The exact curing times are specified on each product page.
What is the difference between Rubber Base and Fiber Base Gel?
Rubber Base Gel is particularly elastic and self-leveling – ideal as a base for a classic soak-off manicure. Fiber Base Gel contains additional reinforcing fibers and is better suited for light extensions and stabilizing weakened natural nails.
What is Acrygel and who is it suitable for?
Acrygel combines the stability of acrylic with the ease of use of gel. It is suitable for both natural nail strengthening and extensions, and its self-leveling texture makes it easy for beginners to work with.
Do I pay VAT with you?
Yes. As of January 1, 2025, we will regularly show the statutory value-added tax; all prices shown are final prices including the applicable value-added tax.
What is included in your nail design training courses?
Our training courses are led by Anela Mucic (Nail Design World Champion 2023, INJA judge) in small groups. Depending on the course, work materials are included, and you will receive a certificate of participation at the end. Details of the services included can be found on the respective course page.
