Anela's Pro Tip
"The One Stroke 1 is my brush for expressive, large-scale flowers like roses – I load the light color onto the tip and the dark color onto the edge, so the gradient forms automatically. The pressure applied when starting determines the width of the petal – more pressure at the beginning, then gently thinning out." – Anela Mucic, World Champion Nail Design 2023 & INJA Juror
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between One Stroke and One Stroke 1?
Both are among the larger brushes in the series. The One Stroke (standard size) is the largest and is suitable for particularly large, dominant flowers. The One Stroke 1 is the second largest size and also creates expressive petals, but slightly more compact.
How do I load colors for a good light-dark gradient?
Load light color onto the tip and dark color onto the edge of the brush – the gradient will then form automatically during application.
How does pressure affect petal width?
More pressure at the base creates wider petals that taper towards the tip as they thin out.
Which flower motifs are best suited for the One Stroke 1?
Roses, peonies, and other large, dominant floral motifs.
Is the One Stroke 1 equally suitable for gel and acrylic paint?
Yes, it works with both materials.
