Collection: Correction Cover Gels – Repairs without a template & precise shape corrections
This collection includes Cover Gels specially developed for fast and stable corrections – tested and recommended by Anela Mucic, World Champion Nail Design 2023 & INJA Juror. Whether missing corners, small breaks, or asymmetrical nail shapes – these gels allow you to make repairs without a form, where the material stays exactly where you place it.
Perfect for three typical studio situations
1. Missing corners & small breaks
The gels adhere reliably to the nail plate and can be precisely placed without running. Ideal for quick repairs between appointments.
2. Corrections without a form
Thanks to their thixotropic stability, you can directly sculpt small extensions or shape corrections – completely without a form. Perfect for clients who only need a mini-repair.
3. Asymmetrical nail beds & shape equalization
The gels can be pulled thin, allowing for a harmonious transition between old and new material. Ideal for optical corrections and precise shape adjustments.
Professional-level advantages
- High stability — ideal for precise repairs
- Thixotropic control — flows only under the brush, then stays exactly in place
- Seamless transitions — perfect for corrections without visible edges
- Stable adhesion — minimizes lifting for mini-repairs
- Self-leveling — smooth surface without excessive filing
- Acid-free formula — gentle on sensitive natural nails
Anela's Pro Tip
"When making corrections, I always work with minimal material and maximum control. Place the gel precisely on the damaged area and, with light pressure, pull it into the existing sculpt. This creates a repair that is stable and, after sealing, remains completely invisible – even critical jurors can't detect it." – Anela Mucic, World Champion Nail Design 2023 & INJA Juror
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use a normal cover gel for corrections?
Principally yes, but correction gels are thicker and more stable – they stay in place without a form and do not run into missing areas. A thinner, no-file gel would flow into gaps and could not be built up stably enough.
How do I attach correction gel to an already completely broken corner?
Lightly buff the broken area, apply primer, and build up the correction gel in thin layers. The gel should be pulled slightly beyond the existing sculpt to ensure a firm anchor. Anela recommends never more than 2-3 layers per correction for optimal stability.
