Basic Acrylic Course – Foundation for Professional Modeling

Acrylic is considered the most demanding technique in nail design. It offers maximum stability and is the best solution for problem nails or nail biters – but requires precise mastery of the material and brush.

In this two-day intensive course, you will learn the craft from the ground up to safely and cleanly integrate acrylic into your everyday studio routine.

Since acrylic is a hard material, we work intensively with the e-file in the course so that you can use it safely and confidently afterwards.

⭐ The main focus of the training

• Precise material control: Correct mixing ratio of liquid and powder, targeted brush handling and clean setup.
• Problem nails under control: Treatment of nail biters and techniques for lasting adhesion on difficult natural nails.
• Shapes & Aesthetics: Development of the classic almond and the studio square, including optical nail bed extension.
• Safe handling of the e-file : Since acrylic is a hard material, we train the confident use of the milling cutter for efficient and clean work.

⭐ Process & Content

Day 1: Basics & Technique (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM)

• Theory: chemistry of the material, anatomy of the nail, hygiene
• Materials science: ball technique, shading, pinching
• Practical session: First modeling applications under guidance with a focus on statics and durability

Day 2: Studio Forms & Perfection (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM)

• Mandel & Square: Modeling the classic shapes on a model
• Nail bed extension: Correcting proportions, French/glitter design
• Finish: Professional filing and sealing for a smooth, clean result

⭐ Organizational matters

• Location: Studio in Baden-Baden
• Appointments: Individual appointment scheduling
• Model: Please bring a model without old nail enhancements (or work on your own hand)
• Materials: All products are provided; please bring your own router bits and cutters.
• Recommendation: Prior completion of basic gel nail file training, especially for the safe handling of the electric nail file.
